Captain Alex grew up on the Gulf Coast of Florida, where his love for fishing was born at an early age. Specializing in inshore fishing, he brings a deep knowledge of local waters and a lifelong passion for the sport to every charter. Before becoming a full-time captain, he proudly served seven years in the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne Division for the majority of his career. Following the military, Alex got his bachelors degree from Florida Gulf Coast University while working as a mate and growing his love and knowledge for the fishing and outdoors industry. Whether he is targeting redfish, snook, or tarpon, Captain Alex is dedicated to creating a safe, fun, and rewarding experience for anglers of all skill levels.

When Alex isn’t guiding others to their dream catch, he spends his time outdoors with his wife, their dogs and friends. Whether he's fishing, hog hunting, or exploring the wild, he’s passionate about sharing Florida’s natural beauty with others. His deep love for helping others extends beyond the boat—he has assisted in search and rescue efforts following Hurricane Ian, Milton, and Helene. Today, he's in the process of launching a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting search and rescue missions and disaster response in local communities. For Alex, the outdoors is more than a career—it’s a calling he’s honored to live every day.

If you asked Captain Carter Brown what he wanted to be when he grew up, the answer was always the same—a fishing guide in Southwest Florida.

Growing up in southern Ohio, Carter lived and breathed the outdoors. If he wasn’t wading through a creek or sitting in a duck blind, he was practicing knots and watching Reel Time Florida Sportsman. When it came time for college, Florida Gulf Coast University was the only choice that made sense. Spending most of his class days on the water, Captain Carter learned more about Pine Island Sound, and the barrier islands of South West Florida than he did math and science.

Today, Captain Carter specializes in shallow-water sight fishing and offers both fly and spin charters. From Cape Sable to Boca Grande, he’s explored nearly every flat, pass, and shoreline in search of trophy fish. Whether it’s stalking tailing Redfish, poling the flats for Snook, or chasing Tarpon along the beaches, his passion is helping anglers experience the best of SWFL inshore fishing.

With a laid-back personality, years of experience, and a genuine love for teaching, Captain Carter makes every trip more than just a fishing charter—it’s an adventure. Whether you’re a seasoned angler or stepping onto a skiff for the first time, you’ll leave with new skills, unforgettable memories, and maybe even a story about the one that didn’t get away.
